The Story of 68th SAB

The brigade was established on March 6, 2022 as the 68th Separate Jaeger Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The unit is made up of volunteers answering the call at the very beginning of thre russian invasion of Ukraine. Already on March 24, the brigade’s soldiers courageously met the enemy on the approaches to Vuhledar.

For 15 months, the 68th Jaeger continuously held the defense on the front lines of the Kurakhiv direction. The soldiers selflessly defended against an overwhelming enemy force, but pushed back and in June 2023, liberated the Blagodatne village in the Donetsk region and a several other Ukrainian territories.

Thanks to successful assault operations in the summer of 2023, the Wolverines—a nickname gained in battle and reflected on our sleeve patch—liberated the village of Nadiya in the Luhansk region and de-occupied part of the Ukrainian territories in the Kharkiv Oblast.

First, fill out the form on this website. After receiving written consent from us, go to the Territorial Centre of Recruitment at your place of residence to complete paperwork and pass a military medical examination.

At the age of 18-24, if subject to signing a “Contract 18-24”, and at 25-59, if subject to mobilization.

No, not necessarily. We regularly conduct training for the military service members without experience.

Your health condition will be determined by the military medical panel. After passing the commision’s examination, you must receive a prescription “Fit for military service”. This will mean that you have no chronic diseases, addictions or injuries that would interfere with accomplishing your military duties.

Sure. Our brigade regularly sends military service members to sergeant courses and training in military academies to obtain a junior officer rank (if a civilian higher education’s degree is not lower than baccalaureate). If you have the desire and skills, you will definitely get promoted.

    send a request to cancel your subscription to the brigade’s support via the [email protected] email, indicating the ID, subscription’s sum and date, and a screenshot of your payment (if possible).
